libfishsound1 software package provides simple API that wraps Xiph.Org audio codecs, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libfishsound1
libfishsound1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libfishsound1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libfishsound1 *
You will get with libfishsound1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
